Hizola’s Kitchen & Bar
This project was predominantly a cosmetic renovation, we had to think about how we would get the most impact whilst also being very mindful of the cost, so using a repeated coloured scheme of textured charcoal and black timber tables with natural curve edges with black batten design structures to fill the amazing high spaces in which we were having to work with, really achieved our desired outcome.
Our clients at Mr Hizolas already had a flagship store in the bustling location of Burleigh heads, the goal was to raise the sophistication on the Burleigh store as I felt that this was required in a new Brisbane location.

As Mr Hizolas was a Cantonese style restaurant we also chose to illustrate this through large areas of hand painted artwork behind the bar and the booth area and with more contrasting props which really spoke against the black there fore delivered the outcome that we all where hoping for.
Of an evening this venue should calculate you with its moody charm and sizzling cuisine touching the souls of many pulling you back time and time again.
