We were honoured to be approached by Sushi Train to design and fit out their flagship restaurant to be opening in the Qube building, Broadbeach. With such an extensive number of franchises, this was an incredibly exciting opportunity to take their restaurants in a new direction.

Our clients brief was for the restaurant to have an industrial concept; bringing it to life we took a more modern take with cleaner lines and a monolithic use of lighter timbers.

  The use of concrete and steel were a heavy focus in this design creating the main structures whilst keeping the material finishes as raw and as natural as possible. The open and exposed ceilings highlight the mechanical side of the restaurant; allowing more space for the suspended structures to breath.
