A third-generation fishmonger, owner Belinda Gates approached us to help bring her new venue to life in a unique, memorable way. We were tasked with conceptualising, designing and building a fish shop that would bring a flavour to the local scene.

Exploring the concept of a sit-down restaurant other than just a takeaway shop allowed Two Wise Fish to deliver a different atmosphere and product and make better use of the tenancies floor space.

  Then the fun began in turning this very commercial space into a place which made you feel you are on the dock getting fish and chips from the best place in town. We wanted to capture the old charm that you feel when you’re by the ocean. Finding ocean treasures which we could use as part of the interior design was a very important process.
