Project Tokyo
All restaurant design comes with their own unique challenges. Project Tokyo’s biggest challenge was its size.
It’s a small tenancy with very little space in which to create.
Keeping the space open was our first task, so applying tables and chairs as opposed to booth seating concepts allowed that connection to space to evolve.
Adding to the understanding of small space we used repeated design methods, not to overcrowd with too many different textures, allowing the design to flow much more smoothly.
The intimacy that Project Tokyo holds comes from its form of cast lighting and table lamps giving that warm romance to the space.
